• Ensure timely processing of indent/purchase requests through ERP by getting management approval and initiating material transfer process.
• Ensure all material Transactions (In, Out, Issue, Transfer) are recorded live in all Project Cost centers through ERP and processed within the ERP system. Ensure Up-to-date stock reporting at all cost-centers.
• Ensure material movement compliance thru E way- bill and necessary transit insurances prior to dispatch.
• Remotely manage the centralized warehouse by ensuring minimum stock, transfer approvals and logistic arrangements.
• Develop best practices and Stores manual for Material Management. Implement best practices at Site Stores to minimize wastage, pilferage and theft by conducting routine training programs.
• Conduct routine physical stock audits and wastage control audits.
• Idle stock to be identified and transferred on routine basis.
• Prepare MIS reports for Management as per requirement.
• Create purchase orders, solicit proposal bids and review goods requisitions.

• Manage multiple construction projects at one given time and prepare construction progress reports for all projects on everyday basis and manage all communication with contractors and project managers.
• Responsible from proposal through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and customer acceptance phases of the project.
• Ensure that construction activities progress according to predetermined schedule. Assist construction manager and prepare schedule for all projects and assist in close out process and ensure appropriate documentation.
• Participate in various project review meetings. Maintain records of all construction dates and project costs.
• Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis and hold regular status meetings with all the sub-teams.
• Collaborate with project manager and resolve all queries for construction progress.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, pmc, engineers, subcontractors and workforce to meet project targets.
• Inspect all construction sites to ensure appropriate quality control on all processes.
• Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health safety and the environment (HSE) are adhered to.
• Reviews construction drawings for constructability coordinating with construction manager to take effective and early measures to lower the influence of change on site construction and project cost.
• Ensure monthly cash flows are maintained through timely client billing, certification and payments.
• Ensure project budget costs are adhered to. Project accounting functions including managing the budget, tracking of expenses and minimizing exposure and risk in the project.
• Ensure cost control through preparation and review of job cost reports on monthly basis. Take necessary steps to mitigate wastage, improve productivity and limit cost escalation.
• Identify the elements of project design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims. Execute contract change orders or deviations requiring cost estimation.
• Assists Project Manager to check and audit the completed work quantities of contractors regarding his discipline for project payment.
• Coordinate with purchase and supply chain management for planning and deployment of materials, machinery, manpower and resources.
• Reviews of construction documents submitted by contractors, ensuring all documents related are well maintained and dealt with. Prepare various documents for all implementation of activities and ensure approval for same.
• Using construction management software packages to plan smooth work flows.

Desired Skills:
1. Should have 8-10 yrs of relevant experience in Industrial & Building Construction Sector (Turnover >50 Cr.) (Non Residential)
2. Should be proficient in Ms Office, MSP, Auto CAD.
3. Complete understanding of principles, concepts, and techniques in the field of civil engineering, with knowledge of technical specifications, local codes, and surveying techniques and procedures High degree of skill in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
4. Broad knowledge of trade techniques and practices in construction projects – including but not limited to concrete, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, grading, and excavating.

• Monitor employee satisfaction and drive employee involvement and commitment towards achieving business targets.
• Effectively manage HR and employee relations - plan and ensure adequate and capable human resources are available on time at all levels in the organization

Manpower Planning

• Report employee strength, attendance, PF Coverage, ESI Coverage, overtime details, employee cost planning and its related expenses to Management.
• Report the updates, if any, in the statutory requirement to the management.
• Enable periodic audit of compliance and ensure that corrective and preventive action is taken in case of any non-compliance
• Responsible for facing external audits and interfacing with statutory authorities. Ensure that their queries are answered and maintain a cordial relationship with them

Training and Development
• Ensure appropriate identification of training needs for employees by the Project heads/Department headduring Performance appraisal, skill mapping and for taking higher responsibilities
• Review training needs for individuals and ensure its necessity.
• Evolve training plan in annual training calendar and finalize both internal and external training as well as on the job training programmes.
• Train internally as and when required.
• Review and finalize training resource both internal and external and evaluate capabilities of such resources.
• Ensure implementation of training as per plan and insist the trainees on proper participation.

• Ensure establishment of clear KPIs in line with business requirements and align it with Job descriptions.
• Compile the appraisal results, validate and finalize the increments / promotions after approval from Management Team.
• Provide constructive feedback to employees and engineers along with their Project Managers about their performance and motivate them to perform better.
• Review and improve the appraisal process from time to time and update Performance Management system policy as and when required.

Separation
• Handle resignations, retirements and termination as per the separation policy.
• In case of resignation interact with the individual and try to retain the person through counselling.
• If retention is not possible, conduct an exit interview as per HR policy.
• Ensure proper handing over, taking over formalities before the exit of the resigned employee.
• In case of retirement – Organise for retirement event
• Conduct formal farewell function as per the policy of the company

Leadership – Systems / Process development
• Design and establish suitable systems / processes appropriate to functional and organisational requirements.
• Set clear directions to team members in effectively executing the systems / processes.
• Participate in internal/cross functional meetings.
• Ensure problem related to concerned departments are analysed, root cause is identified and eliminate the same.
• Ensure corrective / preventive action and drive continual improvements for the same.
• Request for additional manpower, if any, with clear roles, responsibilities and justification to get approval from management team.
